# Tom's House

Tom is one of Finn's closest friends. By visitin’ Tom’s House, all drifters can stake $FINN to receive $TOM.

Because this is single-sided $FINN staking, there is **no impermanent loss** and you maximize your profits when $FINN tokens go up in price!

### How does it work?

$TOM is the main staking mechanism on Huckleberry. When you stake $FINN, your $FINN is put into a pool and you receive $TOM as a receipt representin' your portion of the $FINN pool. Just by holdin' $TOM, **your $TOM will be worth more $FINN every single day**.

This is because the pool of $FINN backing $TOM continually grows thanks to both [Passive Sailin’](/introduction/let-the-river-guide-you/passive-sailin.md) and a portion of Huckleberry DEX fees (0.05% to be precise!), $TOM has the potential for never-ending growth (Tom always was one to come up with imaginative schemes)!

### Why stake $FINN for $TOM?

* No impermanent loss
* Maximize your profits when $FINN tokens go up in price
* $TOM is worth more $FINN every single day thank to [Passive Sailin'](/introduction/let-the-river-guide-you/passive-sailin.md) rewards and DEX fees
